GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS (GTC)
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") govern the mutual rights and obligations between the Seller and the Buyer arising in connection with or based on a purchase contract concluded through the Seller's online shop.
The legal relationships are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, in particular Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, and Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection, as amended.
1. Seller Contact Information
The operator of the shop and the Seller is:
- Registered Seat: Dolany 29, Czech Republic
- Company ID (IČO): 07050593
- Tax Jurisdiction: Tax Office in Olomouc
- VAT Status: The Seller is NOT a VAT payer.
- Email: info@czeod.com
(Hereinafter referred to as the "Seller")
2. Conclusion of the Purchase Contract
- The presentation of goods in the online shop is for informational purposes only and the Seller is not obliged to conclude a purchase contract regarding these goods.
- To order goods, the Buyer fills out an order form in the online shop interface.
- Before sending the order to the Seller, the Buyer is allowed to check and change the data entered in the order. The Buyer sends the order to the Seller by clicking the button labeled "Order with obligation to pay" (or similar explicit wording).
- The contractual relationship between the Seller and the Buyer arises upon the delivery of the Order Acceptance (confirmation), which is sent by the Seller to the Buyer via email.
- By submitting the order, the Buyer confirms that they have become familiar with these Terms and explicitly agrees to them.
3. Prices and Payment Terms
- All prices listed in the online shop are final. The Seller is not a VAT payer; therefore, the prices do not include VAT and no VAT can be deducted.
- Prices remain valid as long as they are displayed in the web interface of the shop.
- The Buyer acquires ownership of the goods only upon payment of the full purchase price.
4. Withdrawal from the Contract (Returns)
- The Buyer (if they are a consumer) has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the goods, in accordance with Section 1829 of the Czech Civil Code.
- To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must inform the Seller of their decision to withdraw via an unequivocal statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email to info@czeod.com).
- Returning Goods: The Buyer shall send back the goods or hand them over to the Seller without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which they communicated their withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if the Buyer sends back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
- Costs of Return: The direct costs of returning the goods (shipping) are borne by the Buyer.
- Refunds: If the Buyer withdraws from this contract, the Seller shall reimburse all payments received from the Buyer, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the Buyer's choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by the Seller). The Seller will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as the Buyer used for the initial transaction.
5. Rights from Defective Performance (Warranty)
- The rights and obligations of the contracting parties regarding rights from defective performance are governed by the relevant generally binding regulations (in particular Sections 1914 to 1925, Sections 2099 to 2117, and Sections 2161 to 2174 of the Czech Civil Code).
- The Seller warrants to the Buyer that the goods are free from defects upon receipt.
- The Buyer is entitled to exercise the right from a defect that occurs in consumer goods within 24 months of receipt.
- If a defect occurs, the Buyer may submit a claim (complaint) via email to info@czeod.com or by post to the Seller's address.
6. Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution
- The Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), with its registered office at Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2, Czech Republic, ID: 000 20 869, internet address: https://adr.coi.cz/en, is competent for the out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes arising from the purchase contract.

7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions and the relationship between the Seller and the Buyer are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. If the relationship established by the purchase contract contains an international (foreign) element, the parties agree that the relationship is governed by Czech law. This does not affect the consumer's rights arising from generally binding legislation of their country of residence.
